Homework from last week:
-Using external CSS, design 1 HTML page about yourself and your art/work.
*SAVE IT AS: index.html
-Please use 1 image of your face
-Add in working links to 3 other websites (these can be any websites online, anything you are a fan of).
-Try embedding a youTube and/or a Vimeo video, or 2.
-Write a paragraph or 2 about yourself
-Please use your name has a header
-Practice good onscreen typography
-You can experiment with "Google Fonts"

HOW TO UPLOAD FILES TO TIGERWEB!






PLEASE REVIEW:



Video#1 :
Setting up your HTML page, div tags, span tags, and file management.



Video#2 :
Setting up your external CSS page. What's fixed positioning? Padding? and "z-index"? And, adding video.



Video#3 :
More CSS. Adding color to your hyperlinks, centering divs, drop-shadows... and more.



Video#4 :
How to upload your project. Using FileZilla. And, activating your site at tigerweb.towson.edu



Video#5 :
Editing your uploaded project. Re-uploading, adding a background image, and adding Google Fonts.






HOMEWORK:


- Practice uploading your work to Towson's server: tigerweb.towson.edu

FOR THE REST OF THE SEMESTER:

Your final assignment is to make a "Self-Promotion" website.

* Your 1st page should be saved as index.html
* Please use external CSS
* Include at least 9 original images on the website
- Practice good onscreen typography
- Try to focus on one type of media, or a series of works
- In addition to a bio, and examples of your work, you can also try to include a resume or CV
- You can also include influences, or links to other artists you like
- There's no minimum or maximum number of pages

NOTE: Try uploading your work before the end of the semester.
If you want feedback on the project...
please turn in a rough draft or "work in progress" by May 12th

THE LAST DAY TO TURN ANYTHING IN IS MAY 19TH
I will not be accepting any work after the semester has ended
