Pick 1 of the 4 compositions, and improve it.
Print & Mount that best composition
Get necessary supplies and mount your project before class

Turn it all in (PS file, Ai files,*any "placed files", final comp, & .pdf copies), by the due date, for a grade.

Short Writing Assignment:
due in 2 weeks

(March 5, 2018)

1) Find a great looking art book about a:
genre, an exhibition, or an artist
(in any media), not your Art History Text.

2) Write a paragraph about the subject:
who's the artist(s), what's the work like?

3) Write about this great art book.
(keep the writing portion under 1 page)

What is the typography like?
How much text is there?
Is there a pattern to the page layouts?
Grids?
Wide variety of image sizes?
Full page spreads?
What makes the art look good?

4) Scan at least 4 images of the book:

1. the cover,
2. the copyright date,
3. at least two good looking pages

5) Organize the scans in Photoshop
