Hiiii, my name is Kinady! I was born and raised in Baltimore County Maryland and I'm a Towson University
student majoring in Graphic Design. I'm chose to study Graphic Design because it combines the two things
I'm most fascinated by: Art and Technology.
I always knew I wanted to be an artist, but once I learned that Graphic Design was an option, I took
that leap! I'm taking Design for the WWW2 because I already took the 1st part a couple of months ago
and it's a required course.
What I want to learn this semester is how to make clean and seamless websites... ones that don't look
so under-designed. My past WWW assignments have been okay, but I'd love to learn how to code the websites
that we see online today; the more modern looking ones. I also want to learn how to do some cool effects.
For fun outside of this class, I'll be mainly working on other art projects, while also trying to start a
business. I'm considering starting a junk case business and maybe something else... but definitely something
that's crafty. I'll also be playing video games whenever I get the free time as well as spending time
with my son- a.k.a. my cat Zorro.
Some responsiblities/jobs I have is an internship. Well, it's technically a Co-Op, but it will fulfill
my internship credit. I'm a Cross Media Designer for the company Textron Systems, which is an Aerospace
and Defense Development firm. There, I help create ads, flyers, invitations, graphics, and more! Along
with that, me and a couple others are currently working towards rebooting TUDO (Towson University Design
Organization). Once that all gets settled, I'll definitely be sure to announce any events :). Not
gonna lie, it has definitely been difficult juggling everything plus school, but I'm hoping I'll figure
out a flow state sooner than later.
