About Me

Hello, my name is Ava Roddy! I’m a rising junior at Towson University, majoring in Graphic Design. My coursework has given me the opportunity to explore various aspects of design, and I look forward to more of those classes at Towson. I enjoy the creative process and am always looking for new ways to develop my skills in all mediums.

Outside of academics, I am a member of Fusion, a dance team that allows me to stay active and express myself through different styles and music. I also enjoy playing badminton and pickleball at the gym, both of which provide a great way to unwind and stay engaged in physical activity. Additionally, I make time for regular workouts at the gym as well.

One of my primary creative outlets is my YouTube channel, Ava_Art, where I showcase my artwork and artistic process. I’ve linked it below for those interested in viewing my work. If you enjoy different mediums of art and design, feel free to subscribe and follow along as I continue to share new projects. I’ve attached a picture of a recent artwork I’ve completed.

Beyond art and fitness, I have a strong interest in cooking and baking. I find the process both rewarding and relaxing, especially when I get to share my creations with family and friends. In fact, I’ve linked the pie recipe to the picture for anyone interested in trying it out! In my free time, I also enjoy taking walks and spending time with my dog, Confetti. She’s in the second photo with me!

Travel is another passion of mine. I have had the opportunity to visit Spain, France, Portugal, and England, each of which offered unique cultural experiences. My goal is to visit Germany in the future, as I’ve always been drawn to its history, architecture, and design influence.

I also love to listen to many genres of music like pop, metal, rock, indie, and alternative. Below my YouTube channel, I linked one of my favorite songs called "An Evening I Will Not Forget" by Dermot Kennedy.
