Hello!
Fine arts have always been a passion of mine. Even in grade school, it was the one thing I always kept coming back to. In college, I have pursued multiple mediums in fine arts; Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Photography, even Art Reproduction and Conservation, although the chemistry was not for me. I spent so much time trying to figure out what area of art I loved the most, that by 2012, I had managed to graduate with five associates of arts degrees, with honors, from my local community college. This was certainly not my intention, there was just so much I wanted to learn and I had taken a lot of courses over the few years that I had attended. After graduation, it took a while for me to figure out the path I wanted to take, but was eventually swayed by romanticism of Photography. After a few years of searching for the right path, I began attendance at Towson University, where I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photographic Imaging as well as a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Art History.
Once graduated, I aim to pursue a career in Museum Collections Management, managing and handling art collections. Until then, I currently work as a professional, grade school, portrait photographer with the companyStrawbridge Studios, Inc., as well as the owner and lead photographer ofSweet Magnolia Photography; a company that specializes in engagement, life style and wedding photography. In addition to photography, I have developed a passion for drawing and painting. Although I have not been able to dedicate as much time as I would like to this area of art, it remains something I do in my free time.
